Below are some of our frequently asked questions (F&QS):

How do I store my dough?

All our dough should be stored in the fridge until the use-by date. Our ready-to-bake range can be frozen for up to a year (and baked from chilled or frozen).

Why is there a droplet of caramel?

We believe in using the finest real ingredients in all our cookie dough recipes. That is why you will see little droplets of caramel on your dough balls before baking – they go irresistibly gooey when baked! You may also see an occasional fleck of white coconut oil in some of our vegan flavours as, in order to get the perfect texture, we don’t over mix the dough.

How do you make gluten-free cookies?

That would be telling! We spent hours researching, testing (and eating!) recipes with different flours before deciding on our unique blend of gluten-free oat flour, rice flour and tapioca flour. We then add the finest ingredients to create our range of delicious cookie dough.

Why doesn’t my cookie spread as much as others?

We only use natural ingredients. This includes gluten-free oat flour, which helps to give our famously rich texture. We recommend baking at a lower temperature (160 C) so that your cookie dough has time to spread slowly as the cookie bakes. All ovens vary in temperature (and you know your oven best!). If 160 C seems too low for your oven, try increasing to 170 C. If you like a flatter cookie, press the pucks down with the palm of your hand or a spatula prior to baking to enable further spreading. Personally, we love the homemade look and taste of a fuller cookie which contrasts beautifully with the crispy top and chewy inside.

How do I know my cookies are ready?

Our unique colours can make it a little tricky to tell when your cookies are ready. Look for a puffed-up centre with light golden brown edges. If you like a softer, gooey cookie (like Kathryn), slightly under-bake because it will firm up as it cools on the baking sheet.  For a crispier cookie, bake for a few more minutes. Why does the packaging read “May contain traces of nuts or peanuts”

All Doughlicious dough is produced in our own 100% gluten-free factory. We maintain SALSA, Organic Food Federation, and Vegan and Vegetarian Society certifications. Our production area and all our equipment is thoroughly cleaned after we make any flavour. Although we do everything we reasonably can to prevent cross-contamination, there is a chance that allergen traces could end up in other flavours.

Can I freeze my Doughlicious dough?

Yes! Doughlicious dough can be baked from chilled or frozen in the same amount of time – and will be just as tasty as when baked from the fridge. Doughlicious dough should last up to one year in the freezer (as if you can resist it for that long!).

When can I expect to receive my order?

Orders are processed on the next working day and will be shipped within 1-3 business days. Please let us know if your order is urgent for next day delivery and we will try our best to ensure it gets to the recipient in time.
